gastro-intestinal helminth infections of ponies set-stocked on small pasture from February until September compared with those of similar group which grazed similar pasture from February to July and subsequently were removed to pasture which had been grazed by sheep from April to July, both groups were treated with cambendazole when latter group was removed to sheep pasture, group grazed after sheep acquired smaller burdens of Cyathostominae and Strongylinae but higher burdens of Trichostrongylus axei than group which remained on same pasture
