The study projects 1978 costs for producing major western Washington dairy forage crops. crops included in the study were corn silage, grass silage, green chop and improved pasture. costs for these crops were developed and compared on a per acre, per ton of dry matter, per ton of total digestible nutrients and per ton of crude protein basis.
