Natural genetic sampling has been predicted theoretically and demonstrated experimentally. While seeds are assayed in the same order as they appeared on the flowering stalk, it has been demonstrated, with sugar beet as a model object, that natural genetic sampling allows agamospermy to be identified. The factors affecting seed development were also studied.
