The oils of the aerial parts of Acinos suaveolens, collected in two different regions in Greece were analyzed by GC/MS. Both oils were found to be dominated by oxygenated monoterpenes. The main compound in both samples was pulegone 67.7% and 77.7%, respectively. Furthermore, the bacteriostatic activity of the oils against three Gram positive and two Gram negative bacteria was evaluated.
