A self-appraisal tool was developed and evaluated for aiding undergraduate and preregistered dietitians in improving their oral communications. The results of the application of this assessment tool indicate that responses provided by the dietitians can be useful in identifying oral presentation difficulties and/or limitations in delivering formal or informal professional presentations.
