Extract: The purpose of this survey was to determine the uses and expenditure patterns for landscape plant materials among non residential firms and institutions. this segment of the market makes an important contribution to the total demand for ornamental plants and no known previous research has attempted quantification of this contribution. knowledge of how such users view the importance of landscape plantings and the magnitude of their expenditures should facilitate better service to this market segment by producers and distributors of ornamental plant materials.
