Variations in time and space of a clonal group of Escherichia coli O165:H25 on a cattle farm were monitored. The virulence marker pattern (stx genes, eae gene, hly[subscript EHEC] gene, katP gene, espP gene, efa gene) suggests that E. coli O165:H25 of bovine origin may represent a risk for human infection.
