Tissue culture plants registered 17.4 and 9.8 per cent increased cane yield over sett planting and poly bag planting, respectively. There was 0.40 per cent increased CCS per cent in tissue culture plants when compared to sett and poly bag planting. Increased cane yield in tissue culture plants was due to higher number of millable canes and increased CCS percent was due to uniform maturity of canes.
