Deposits of Hard-to-Recover Oil Reserves in Reservoirs of the Tyumen Formation

The paper summarizes the geological and geophysical information on the Middle Jurassic deposits of the Tyumen Formation within the study area. Based on the results of core studies, the physical and lithological characteristics of the productive strata of the Tyumen Formation are presented. Based on GIS data, a detailed correlation of sediments in the section of the area was carried out, and productive strata of Middle Jurassic deposits of the Tyumen Formation were identified: J2-3, J4, J5, J6, J7, J8. The factors justifying the unification of the Tyumen Formation formations into a common production facility J2-8 were substantiated.
