APOYO TÉCNICO A LA EMPRESA DE SERVICIOS PÚBLICOS ESP DE SANTANA BOYACÁ RELACIONADO CON LOS ASPECTOS DE IANC, ADEMÁS DEL DISEÑO DE LA METODOLOGÍA PARA LA CARACTERIZACIÓN DE LOS RESIDUOS SÓLIDOS

En el contexto de una pasantía realizada en el marco de la ingeniería ambiental, surge la oportunidad de contribuir significativamente al desarrollo sostenible de la empresa de servicios públicos (ESP) en Santana, Boyacá. Este proyecto de grado se enfoca en brindar apoyo técnico integral a la ESP, particularmente en la gestión de aspectos relacionados con el Índice de Agua No Contabilizada (IANC) y la caracterización de residuos sólidos. La importancia de un adecuado manejo de los recursos hídricos y la gestión eficiente de los residuos sólidos se vuelve cada vez más crucial en el panorama actual de desarrollo sostenible. En este sentido, se plantea la tarea de diseñar y ejecutar metodologías específicas que fortalezcan la gestión operativa del servicio de aseo, garantizando condiciones óptimas para la comunidad y el entorno ambiental. La empresa de servicios públicos de Santana se encuentra inmersa en un entorno donde la captación y distribución de agua son elementos esenciales para la calidad de vida de la población. Por lo tanto, el proyecto también abordará actividades de apoyo enfocadas en el sistema de captación de las fuentes hídricas que abastecen el municipio. Este enfoque holístico permitirá evaluar la sostenibilidad de los procesos y su impacto en la comunidad local. En la búsqueda constante de soluciones eficientes y sostenibles para la captación de agua superficial destinada al consumo humano, el diseño de estructuras se convierte en un componente crítico que debe ser abordado con meticulosidad y consideración de diversos factores. Este artículo se sumerge en la importancia de una aproximación integral al diseño de estas estructuras, donde la hidrología, geomorfología y hidráulica de la fuente de captación son elementos clave a considerar. La preservación de la integridad de los ecosistemas fluviales se erige como un principio fundamental, instando a evitar modificaciones significativas en los cursos de agua existentes (Bogota, 2017).

In the context of an internship carried out within the framework of environmental engineering, the opportunity arises to contribute significantly to the sustainable development of the public services company (ESP) in Santana, Boyacá. This degree project focuses on providing comprehensive technical support to the ESP, particularly in the management of aspects related to the Non-Revenue Water Index (IANC) and the characterization of solid waste. The importance of proper management of water resources and management efficient use of solid waste becomes increasingly crucial in the landscape current sustainable development. In this sense, the task of designing and execute specific methodologies that strengthen the operational management of the service cleaning, guaranteeing optimal conditions for the community and the environment environmental. The Santana public services company is immersed in an environment where the collection and distribution of water are essential elements for quality of life of the population. Therefore, the project will also address activities of support focused on the collection system for water sources that supply the town. This holistic approach will allow evaluating the sustainability of the processes and their impact on the local community. In the constant search for efficient and sustainable solutions for collecting of surface water intended for human consumption, the design of structures is becomes a critical component that must be approached meticulously and consideration of various factors. This article summarizes the importance of a comprehensive approach to the design of these structures, where hydrology, geomorphology and hydraulics of the catchment source are key elements to consider. The preservation of the integrity of river ecosystems is established. as a fundamental principle, installing to avoid significant modifications in the existing water courses (Bogotá, 2017).
