Análisis de estrategias internacionales y nacionales de protección de fauna feral y animales domésticos | Analysis of international and national strategies for protection of feral fauna and domestic animals

El presente artículo se enfoca en un análisis de la gestión de protección animal en cuanto a la fauna feral y animales domésticos, en este orden de ideas, dicha fauna se entiende como aquellos organismos que en su mayoría tienen un ciclo domestico (Perros- Canis lupus familiaris, gatos- Felis catus), pero que con la presión del ambiente o abandono por parte de las comunidades antrópicas, se han establecido y organizado de manera independiente de las poblaciones humanas, de esta manera, pueden convertirse en un problema ecológico al desplazar especies en los sectores rurales y alterar las cadenas tróficas de los ecosistemas, además de, convertirse en un problema sanitario al expandir su población y propagar enfermedades o ataques a las personas. Con el objetivo de analizar las estrategias de protección de animales domésticos y fauna feral en el contexto nacional, es examinada la normativa ambiental para la protección animal en Colombia, las estrategias implementadas a nivel distrital y analizadas con la normativa y dinámicas de países que han logrado una optima gestión respecto a esta problemática.

This article try about an analysis of animal protection management focused on feral fauna and domestic animals, in this order of ideas, this fauna is understood as those organisms that mostly have a domestic cycle (Dogs- Canis lupus familiaris, cats- Felis catus), but that with the pressure of the environment or abandonment by human communities, they start to be established and organized independently of human populations, about this, this animals can become an ecological problem by displacing species to the rural sectors, and with this, have a direct impact to the trophic chains in the ecosystems, other problem is that they can to become a health problem by expanding their population, spreading diseases and can be seen by attacks on people. In order to analyze the strategies for the protection of domestic animals and feral fauna in the national context, the regulations for animal protection in Colombia are examined, the strategies implemented at the district and contrasted with the regulations and dynamics of countries that have optimal management regarding this problem.
