A study was conducted to determine the potential use of ensiled spent mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus Jacq.) substrate as supplementary feed in sheep. A total of fifteen grower sheep were distributed to three diets as follows: Diet A - Napier Grass as their basal diet; Diet B-Napier Grass plus 100 grams of concentrate; Diet C - Napier Grass plus 10O grams of ensiled spent mushroom substrates (ESMS). The experiment was laid out in RCBD, and data were run using Tukey's HSD using the SAS version 9. Results showed that Voluntary Feed Intake in the 5th and 10th week did not significantly affect the feed intake of sheep. On the other hand, Dry Matter Intake (DMI), Organic Matter Intake (OMI), and Weight Gain (CWG) were significant at the 5th and 10th weeks of feeding. These results suggest that Ensiled Spent Mushroom Substrate (ESMS) can become a good supplement or part of the dietary ratio among sheep and feasible to supplement to grower sheep without adversely affecting growth performance indicators.
