Leaving no one behind is a pivotal principle of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), meaning that the goals of sustainable development need to be holistic and intended for all the society. Poverty and hunger are still becoming the main problems of the world particularly developing counties and therefore hindering the achievement of the SDG Goal 1 'no poverty' and Goal 2 'zero hunger'. The challenges are higher for the poor living in the disruptive era which is characterized by uncertainty, volatility, complexity, and ambiguity. Based on the experience of 240 poor farmers and non-farmers in four agroecological zone in Indonesia, using The Household Food Insecurity Access Scale (HFAS) score and prevalence, authors measure the food access status of the poor before and during pandemic. Authors also used linear regression analysis to estimate the determinant factors influences the food insecurity access status. The analysis finds a negative effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on food access of the poor in all surveyed farmers in all agroecosystems. The number of people with severe insecurity access and moderately food insecurity access increased due to the Covid- 19 pandemic. To what extent the Covid-19 pandemic affects society is not equally. People with disability are more affected in term of food access than non-disability people. Results also indicate that, for poor people in the rural area, diverse livelihood strategy is important to be more resistance from shock due to pandemic. Having more than one source of income give people more opportunity to survive from economic shocks and, therefore they can maintain their access to food more stable.
