英语. At present, the environmental problem is increasingly serious,how to achieve the sustainable development has become very importantrecently. This paper used the data of 106 prefecture-level cities of theYangtze River Economic Belt to study the effect of environmentalregulation on green total factor productivity. The results show thatenvironmental regulation can significantly improve the GTFP. There issignificant heterogeneity. Also found that the level of economicdevelopment has a threshold effect.
