Desarrollo de frijol (Phaseolus vulgaris l.) en condiciones controladas en el Piedemonte llanero | Development of beans (Phaseolus vulgaris l.) under controlled conditions in the Colombian foothills

El objetivo de la presente investigación fue evaluar los diferentes componentes de rendimiento y comportamiento de genotipos de frijol (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) en condiciones controladas, identificar problemas fitosanitarios que afecten el normal crecimiento y desarrollo de los genotipos de frijol, determinar la viabilidad económica de genotipos con potenciales de rendimientos. Se aplicó el diseño de bloques completos al azar, en el cual se evaluaron 8 tratamientos. El manejo agronómico se realizó de forma convencional y bajo criterios técnicos basados en análisis físico químico del suelo, la preparación del terreno será de forma mecanizada y su siembra será sobre materas en sitio específico, depositando un grano de semilla por sitio. Las evaluaciones de componentes fenológicos y estados fitosanitarios de los diferentes genotipos se realizaron cada ocho días de forma consecutiva hasta el punto de madurez fisiológica, las labores culturales se realizaron de forma manual. Para el análisis estadístico se tomaron los datos obtenidos en las mediciones y se realizara un análisis de varianza (ANAVA) y una prueba de comparación de medias (DMS) al 5%. Las variables tomadas en esta investigación fueron el porcentaje de germinación, número de días de emergencia, días de floración, altura de la planta, numero de hojas de la planta y por último el rendimiento en kg por hectárea. Los materiales evaluados no presentaron un grado de susceptibilidad frente a los patógenos de mayor importancia, sin embargo se presentaron grados intermedios de Fusarium solani, Rhizoctonia solani y Colletotrichum lindemuthianum. El 87,5 % de los materiales evaluados presentaron un rendimiento superior a la media departamental, con rendimientos de 1.8 ton ha, demostrando un buen potencial de producción en condiciones de suelos evolucionados, lo cual indica que el cultivo de frijol procedente de materiales genéticamente mejorados representa una alternativa para ser cultivados y realizar un mejor aprovechamiento del uso del suelo.

The objective of this research was to evaluate the different components of performance and behavior of bean genotypes (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) under controlled conditions, identify phytosanitary problems that affect the normal growth and development of bean genotypes, determine the economic viability of genotypes with yield potentials. The randomized complete block design was applied, in which 10 treatments were evaluated. The agronomic management was carried out in a conventional way and under technical criteria based on physical-chemical analysis of the soil, the preparation of the land will be mechanized and its sowing will be on pots in a specific place, depositing one grain of seed per site. The evaluations of phenological components and phytosanitary states of the different genotypes were carried out every eight days consecutively until the point of physiological maturity, the cultural tasks were carried out manually. For the statistical analysis, the data obtained in the measurements were taken and an analysis of variance (ANAVA) and a test of comparison of means (DMS) at 5% were performed. The variables taken in this research were the percentage of germination, number of days of emergence, days of flowering, height of the plant, number of leaves of the plant and finally the yield in kg per hectare. The evaluated materials did not present a degree of susceptibility to the most important pathogens, however intermediate degrees of Fusarium solani, Rhizoctonia solani and Colletotrichum lindemuthianum were present. 87.5% of the evaluated materials presented a yield higher than the departmental average, with yields of 1.8 ton ha, demonstrating good production potential under evolved soil conditions, which indicates that the cultivation of beans from genetically improved materials represents an alternative to be cultivated and make better use of land use.
