Evaluación de lombricomposta y tezontle en jitomate (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) bajo invernadero | Evaluation of vermicompost and tezontle in tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) In greenhouse

En México, el jitomate (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) es de las hortalizas de mayor importancia por el valor de su producción y superficie cultivada. Uno de los factores que en los últimos años limitan su producción son: sequías prolongadas, suelos erosionados, plagas y enfermedades. Con el propósito de evaluar los cambios que produce la lombricomposta y el tezontle en el desarrollo y crecimiento de jitomate se llevó a cabo el presente trabajo bajo invernadero. Los tratamientos fueron: tratamiento 1 tezontle+vermicomposta+carbón (47.5% + 47.5% + 5%), tratamiento 2 tezontle+vermicomposta+carbón (57.5%+37.5%+5%), tratamiento 3 tezontle+vermicomposta+carbón (67.5%+27.5%+5%), tratamiento 4 tezontle (100%) y tratamiento 5 suelo+lombricomposta (95%+5%). El tratamiento 5 fue el tratamiento testigo. Se utilizaron dos bancales de 10 x 1 m por tratamiento, haciendo un total de 10 bancales, con 10 repeticiones. El trabajo se realizó en la ciudad de Xalapa, Veracruz. Se analizó bajo un diseño completamente al azar. Se midieron las variables: altura, número de hojas, número de inflorescencias, número de frutos totales, número de frutos cosechados, peso promedio de frutos y rendimiento. Se realizó un análisis de varianza y pruebas de comparación de medias con Tukey (∝ = 0.05). Se concluyó que no existen diferencias significativas entre los cinco tratamientos. Sin embargo, de acuerdo a las tendencias y con base al rendimiento, se recomienda el uso de suelo como sustrato.

In order to evaluate the changes produced by vermicomposting and tezontle in the development and growth of tomato was carried out this work in greenhouses. The treatments were: Treatment 1 tezontle+vermicompost+coal (47.5%+47.5%+5%), Treatment 2 tezontle+vermicompost + coal (57.5% + 37.5% + 5%), Treatment 3 tezontle + vermicompost + coal (67.5% + 27.5% + 5%), Treatment 4 tezontle (100%) and five treatment vermicompost soil+(95% + 5%). Treatment 5 was the control treatment. Two beds of 10 x 1 m per treatment, making a total of 10 terraces, with 10 repetitions. The work was conducted in the city of Xalapa, Veracruz. Was analyzed under a completely randomized design. Height, number ofleaves, number ofinflorescences, number of total fruits, number ofharvested fruits, average fruit weight and yield: the variables were measured.An analysis ofvariance and mean comparison tests with Tukey (∝= 0.05) was performed. It was concluded that there are no significant differences among the five treatments. However, according to trends and performance based, land use as substrate is recommended.
