Ecological farming can be successfully initiated and implemeted when there is a consistent flow of high-quality organic matter in the soil and the soil is rich in biologically available phosphorus. Pedological research in the Lower Dniester meadow area revealed the presence of 600 hectares of deep humic post-marsh clayey alluvial soils exceptionally rich in available phosphorus, ranging from 5-10 mg/100g. These soils present ideal conditions for ecological agriculture, yielding highly favorable results. Large-scale field experiments in ecological agriculture were conducted on a 10-hectare plot under irrigation, where early potatoes were planted at the end of May following the incorporation of a green mass crop consisting of a vetch + wheat mixture. The results were promising, with potato yields reaching 31 tons per hectare.
