To the Editors, According to the comprehensive article by Blagojevic and Antic, in the context of zoonotic macroparasitic hazards of pigs able to cause meatborne infections in humans, they mention the species of Trichinella genus and the cysticercus of Taenia solium. The authors only consider the most common hazards that are known to occur in Europe in their paper (Blagojevic & Antic, 2014).
