[ES] Se describe Agrionemys en el Paleolitico Medio (ca -29 000 a -26.500 años) de la Gruta Nova da Columbeira (Bombarral, Estremadura, Portugal), donde su registro es muy abundante. Su presencia amplía considerablemente el área de distribución de la especie, hoy desaparecida en Portugal, en el pasado.
