Implementación de un tubo Pitot con retro-lavado (back-flushing) para la estimación de la velocidad del flujo bifásico (agua + aire)

El trabajo de titulación aquí presentado se sumerge en el estudio de la velocidad en la zona uniformemente aireada de una rápida escalonada de 45° de inclinación del proyecto de investigación PIMI 16-06 (Modelación física y numérica del flujo supercrítico con disipación continua de energía e introducción natural de aire, sobre un fondo con rugurosidad regular artificial uniformemente distribuida), mediante la modificación y adaptación del método de retro-lavado estipulado por US BUREAU OF RECLAMATION, a las condiciones del CIERHI-EPN, el objetivo es establecer un método físico de estimación de velocidad que complemente la modelación numérica por paquetes computacionales CFD. El sistema de retro-lavado construido tiene la capacidad de calibrarse sin la necesidad de conocer la concentración de aire en el flujo, permitiendo obtener lecturas piezométricas libres de presencia de aire como estipula el BUREAU; la concentración de aire fue provista por el paquete computacional CFD ANSYS FLUENT, que permitió obtener los primeros perfiles de velocidad con retro-lavado. Finalmente se realizó una comparación de los perfiles de velocidad de retro-lavado con los perfiles de velocidad del paquete computacional FLOW 3D, con la finalidad de ajustar los perfiles de concentración de aire, y corregir los valores de velocidad.

The current titling work deepens in the study of the velocity in the uniformly aerated area stepped spillway 45 ° slope of the investigation PIMI 16-06 project (Physical and numerical modeling of the supercritical flow with continuous energy dissipation and natural introduction of air, on a background with regular rigidity artificially uniformly distributed), by modifying and adapting the back-flushing method stipulated by US BUREAU OF RECLAMATION, under the conditions of the CIERHI-EPN, with the aims to establish a physic method of velocity estimation, which complements the numerical modeling established by CFD computer packages. The back-flushing system has the capacity to calibrate without the need to know the air concentration in the flux, obtaining piezometric readings free of air presence as stipulated by the BUREAU; the air concentration was provided by the CFD computer package ANSYS FLUENT, which allowed to obtain the first velocity profiles with back-flushing. Finally, a comparison of the back-flushing velocity profiles was made with the velocity profiles of the FLOW 3D computer package, to determine the adjustment of the air concentration profiles, as to correct the velocity values.
