The increase in Hijakings of vessels by Pirates has caused a serious concern for cargo owners and insurers alike. This paper will be a comparative analysis of the insurance cover provided by the 1995 Norwegian Cargo Clauses and the 1982 Institute Cargo Clauses for the common losses cuaused by the peril Piracy.
