Impact of plant extracts on the development of Puccinia triticina in winter wheat | Влияние растительных экстрактов на развитие Puccinia triticina пшеницы озимой

英语. The studies took place in the central zone of the Krasnodar region in 2022-2023. The effect of plant extracts as inducers of resistance to the development of leaf rust (Puccinia triticina Erikss.) to optimize individual elements of winter wheat cultivation has been under study. The 'Grom' winter wheat variety served as a study material. The experimental design included using extracts of such plants as turpentine, anise-tree, celery, and horse chestnut. Albit, RP was used as a reference, and no treatment was used as a control. The application rate of extracts was 30 ml/ha, the reference was 40 mL/ha. The primary assessment of plant extracts was carried out under the conditions of a vegetation test in a greenhouse complex. Plants were treated in the seedling phase by single spraying. In a field experiment conducted in a permanent study area, vegetative plants were treated with resistance inducers in the Z35 phase (end of stem elongation) and Z37 phase (beginning of earing phase). The biological efficiency of plant extracts against leaf rust in the juvenile phase in greenhouse conditions averaged from 19.4 to 38.7% over two research years, and from 19.8% to 49.9% in field conditions in the mature plant phase. Plant extract use made it possible to preserve from 1.2 to 3.8 c/ha of yield, compared to the control (no treatment). At the same time, the protein content in winter wheat grain due to treatment with plant extracts increased by 0.7-1.8%, the amount of gluten – by 0.8-2.5%, and the grain bulk density – by 7.5-13.3 g/L. The use of an anise-tree extract showed a maximum decrease in disease development. Biological effectiveness of this extract against brown rust was higher than that of the reference by 32.8%, prevented yield loss was 2.9 c/ha.

Исследования выполняли в 2022–2023 гг. в центральной зоне Краснодарского края с целью изучения влияния растительных экстрактов как индукторов устойчивости на развитие бурой ржавчины (Puccinia triticina Erikss.) для оптимизации отдельных элементов возделывания пшеницы озимой. Материалом для исследования служил сорт пшеницы озимой Гром. Схема опыта включала варианты применения экстрактов таких растений, как живица, бадьян, сельдерей, каштан конский. В качестве эталона использовали Альбит, ТПС, контроль – без обработки. Норма применения экстрактов – 30 мл/га, эталона – 40 мл/га. Первичную оценку растительных экстрактов осуществляли в условиях вегетационного опыта в тепличном комплексе. Обработку растений проводили в фазе проростков путем однократного опрыскивания. В полевом опыте, заложенном в полевом стационаре, осуществляли обработку индукторами устойчивости вегетирующих растений в фазы Z35 (конец выхода в трубку) и Z37 (начало колошения). Биологическая эффективность применения растительных экстрактов против бурой ржавчины в ювенильной фазе в условиях теплицы составляла в среднем за два года исследований от 19,4% до 38,7%, в полевых условиях в фазе взрослых растений – от 19,8% до 49,9%. Их использование дало возможность сохранить от 1,2 до 3,8 ц/га урожая, в сравнении с контролем (без обработки). При этом содержание белка в зерне пшеницы озимой в вариантах с растительными экстрактами увеличивалось на 0,7…1,8%, количество клейковины – на 0,8…2,5%, натура зерна – на 7,5…13,3 г/л. Максимальное в опыте снижение развития болезни отмечено при использовании экстракта бадьяна. Его биологическая эффективность против бурой ржавчины была выше, чем у эталона, на 32,8%, сохраненный урожай – на 2,9 ц/га.
