THE METHODS OF FINANCING INNOVATION IN FOOD INDUSTRYOF PODLASKIE PROVINCE

The guiding objective of this article was to present the undertaken innovations and sources of theirfinancing by the food industry from Podlaskie province. Prospects for economic development of theprovinces depend on the capacity to raise the level of innovation in enterprises. Innovation processesin Poland, is accompanied by considerable variation between regions. The creation of the absorptioninnovation processes in the region often require the support of external institutions. They fulfill in thisprocess a role financier institutions of innovation proinnovative attitudes and actions. The basic instrumentof these institutions in the financing of innovation are grants. The analysis was based on the literature’review and primary data. As a conclusion could be stated that the level of innovation in food industryenterprises from the Podlasie province is very high, to what largely contributed the EU funds is very highwhat largely contribute EU funds.
