A 10-year-8-month-old, 6.7 kg neutered male Miniature Dachshund presented with intermittent hematuria of 1.5-year duration. Excretory urography and computed tomography revealed cystic structures occupying the right renal pelvis and the ureter. Ureterotomy was performed to allow endoscopic evaluation, and a grape cluster-like of cysts was found located in the ureter and traced back to the renal pelvis. Since the base of the cysts appeared to be confined within the renal pelvis, nephrotomy was performed to remove the cysts. Histopathological diagnosis was transitional cell hyperplasia with mild chronic inflammation. The postoperative course was favorable without recurrence of gross hematuria.
