We tested the utility of moisture permeable films, green light irradiation, and row covers made from non-woven fabric for controlling leaf blight of Chinese chive caused by Botrytis squamosa. The use of moisture permeable polyvinyl alcohol films suppressed the disease with decreases in the dew value. Green light irradiation had no effect on the disease. Placing row covers made from non-woven fabric above Chinese chive leaves suppressed the disease. This protective effect was enhanced when the non-woven fabric was painted with titanium apatite.
