Comparative studies on vegetative response to photoperiodism
1961
Bussell, W. T.
Photoperiod has a considerable effect on vegetative plant growth. In many plants it has been found flowering is accompanied by modification in shoot, leaf and bud growth. Light intensity and light quality as well as the length of the photoperiod appear to be involved. The purpose of this investigation was to determine what effect different stages of floral development had on aspects of vegetative growth.
