Correlation between perennial grass productivity and landscape and climatic conditions | Зависимость продуктивности многолетних трав от ландшафтных и климатических условий

The clover and thymothy grass stands of the first year of use cultivated within the moraine hill was carried out were under crop yield monitoring in 1998-2023 to find patterns in the influence of weather conditions on it. The grass stands were located in the conditions of the Tver region, Russia, in a field divided into 120 plots, 20 m2 each. Crops were cultivated without fertilizers and mowed once per season. Using regression analysis, we determined the hay yield of perennial herbs as influenced by temporal variability of average monthly values of following indices: average daily temperatures, amplitude of them, amount of precipitation and hydrothermal coefficient. It was revealed that these parameters in total determine about 43% of the variability in herb performance, but fluctuations in temperature amplitudes are responsible for 32% of the temporal variability of the yield. The yield of herbs is affected by the variability of growing conditions not only in time, but also in space. The negative impact on the yield of air temperature changes is observed in all parts of the landscape, except for the flat top, where performance responds positively to the growth of the hydrothermal coefficient and negatively to the increase in air temperatures in the pre-harvest period. As revealed, the following factors have a negative impact on product yield: temperature changes in late summer and early autumn, especially on southern slopes, which can make it difficult for plants to overwinter; thaws in March, causing the formation of an ice crust on the soil surface and damaging the tillering nodes of plants; hot days in the pre-harvest period, accelerating the ripening of grasses and reducing the intensity of green matter accumulation. February thaws, promoting the accumulation of moisture in the soil, lead to an increase in grass yield. Measures that reduce the negative impact of temperature changes on the herb harvest are developed, such as autumn mowing of young plants, snow retention in meadows, and herb sprinkling on the hottest days of the pre-harvest period.

俄语. В 1998-2023 гг. проводили мониторинг урожайности клеверотимофеечных травостоев первого года пользования в пределах моренного холма для нахождения закономерностей влияния на нее погодных условий. Травостои эксплуатировались в Тверской области без удобрений в одноукосном режиме на поле, разбитом на 120 делянок по 20 м2. С помощью регрессионного анализа определяли зависимость урожайности сена многолетних трав от временной вариабельности среднемесячных значений среднесуточных температур, их амплитуды, суммы осадков и ГТК. Выявлено, что суммарно эти параметры определяют около 43% вариабельности продуктивности трав, однако колебания амплитуд температур ответственны за 32% временной изменчивости урожая. На урожай трав влияет вариабельность условий произрастания не только во времени, но и в пространстве. Негативное воздействие на урожай перепадов температур воздуха отмечено во всех частях ландшафта, кроме плоской вершины, где продуктивность увеличивается с ростом ГТК и снижается при увеличении температуры воздуха предукосного периода. Выявлены факторы, негативно влияющие на выход продукции: перепады температур поздним летом и ранней осенью, особенно на южных склонах, что может затруднить перезимовку растений; оттепели в марте, провоцирующие возникновение ледяной корки на поверхности почвы, повреждающей узлы кущения растений; жаркие дни в предукосный период, ускоряющие созревание трав и снижающие интенсивность накопления биомассы. Февральские оттепели, способствуя накоплению влаги в почве, приводят к увеличению урожая трав. Предложены мероприятия, снижающие негативное влияние перепадов температур: осеннее скашивание молодого травостоя, снегозадержание на лугах и дождевание трав в наиболее жаркие дни предукосного периода.
