Multidimensional analysis of the world nitrogen fertilizer market | Многомерный анализ мирового рынка азотных минеральных удобрений

英语. The work is focused to the global market of nitrogen mineral fertilizers and the transformations in its functioning taking place against the background of increasing general geopolitical tension. The statistical data on trade in mineral fertilizers by world countries for 2020-2023, data on the level of world fertilizer prices, reporting data and activities of leading fertilizer producers, information from the FAO were studied. To conduct a comprehensive assessment, the indicators characterizing the volumes of production and consumption of nitrogen fertilizers, as well as the value of export and import commodity flows, were analyzed. The parameters of provision and availability of the main types of raw materials for the production of this group of fertilizers are assessed in detail, the basis of the production process, intermediate and final products, factors and conditions of production location, capital intensity and construction timing of manufacturing capacity, the scale and type of market, pricing policy, access to the market for new players and the presence of entry barriers, the balance of supply and demand are analyzed. An analysis of the development of competition in the market and the level of its concentration is given; its main players are identified. A short- and medium-term forecast of prices for nitrogen fertilizers and the volume of their production and consumption in the world have been drafted. It is likely that production and consumption volumes will grow, although not at a very high rate. Many countries are increasing local production and overcoming dependence on imports. Competition in the market is high, but barriers to entry for new players remain.

俄语. Работа посвящена мировому рынку азотных минеральных удобрений и происходящим на фоне повышения общей геополитической напряженности трансформациям в его функционировании. Исследовали статистические данные о торговле минеральными удобрениями странами мира за 2020-2023 гг., сведения об уровне мировых цен удобрений, отчетные данные и деятельности ведущих производителей удобрений, информация ФАО. В целях проведения всесторонней оценки анализу подвергнуты показатели, характеризующие объемы производства и потребления азотных удобрений, а также величину экспортных и импортных товарных потоков. Детально оцениваются параметры обеспеченности и доступности основных видов сырья для производства данной группы удобрений, анализируются основа производственного процесса, промежуточные и конечные продукты, факторы и условия размещения производства, капиталоемкость и сроки строительства производственных мощностей, масштабы и тип рынка, политика ценообразования, доступ к рынку новых игроков и наличие барьеров входа, баланс спроса и предложения. Дан анализ развития конкуренции на рынке и уровня его концентрации, выявлены его основные игроки. Составлен кратко- и среднесрочный прогноз цен на азотные удобрения и объемов их производства и потребления в мире. Вероятно, что объемы производства и потребления будут расти, хотя и не очень высокими темпам. Многие страны наращивают местное производство и преодолевают зависимость от импорта. Конкуренция на рынке высока, но барьеры для входа новых игроков сохраняются.
