The aim of the study is to determine the nutritional status of ash trees growing in the arid areas of Central Anatolia. The leaves were sampled in June-july 2013 from ash trees planted in different years. Then samples were analyzed for their N, C, P, K, Fe and Zn content. In addition, soil samples were taken from around the sampled trees, the texture of the soil, electrical conductivity (EC), soil reaktion (pH), lime, exchangeable sodium percentage (ESP), cation excahnge capacity (CEC) values were determined and the relationship of nutrient concentration of leaves with soil properties were examined. At the first 20 cm depth of the sampling sites soil vary from clay to sandy loam. Since the bulk density of the soil at this depth is generally below 1.2 g cm-3, there is no problem with soil compaction. According to the obtained data, it is observed that the Fe, Mn and Zn values are not low enough to negatively affect the nutrition of the plant.
