Ökotoxikologische Untersuchungen zu Kelthane APS im Hopfenanbau | Ecotoxical studies on Kelthane APS in hop culture

Die Untersuchungen zur ökotoxikologischen Bewertung von Dicofol (Handelspräparat Kelthane APS) wurden vor dem Hintergrund der Harmonisierung der Grundlagen für die Pflanzenschutzmittelzulassungen innerhalb der EU durchgeführt. Nach Veröffentlichung der Befunde an Wasserorganismen und Collembolen (MUELLER et al., 1996) soll in dem vorliegenden Teil das Rückstandsverhalten von Dicofol in Wasser und Sediment dargelegt werden. Unter Labor- und Freilandbedingungen wurde für p,p' -Dicofol ein schneller Abbau in Wasser ermittelt. Bei Sediment-Toxizitätstests im Labor wurden nach Applikation von 405, 810 und 1620 flg/l Kelthane APS im Wasser für p,p'-Dicofol Eliminierungszeiten (DT50) von 7 bis 9 Stunden bestimmt. In einem Mikrokosmosversuch mit Wasser und Sediment konnte der schnelle Abbau des Wirkstoffes bestätigt werden, wobei nach Applikation von 7,5 bzw. 15,0 kg/ha Kelthane APS DT50-Werte von 6 bzw. 7 Stunden berechnet wurden. In Praxisversuchen in Hopfenanlagen der Hallertau wurden nach Applikation von 6,7 kg/ha bzw. 5,6 kg/ha Kelthane APS bei Abständen von 5 bis 10 m zwischen Hopfenanlage und Weiher infolge Abtrift maximale Rückstände von l,l flg/l (1992) und 0,4 ftg/l p,p'-Dicofol (1993) bestimmt. Diese Konzentrationen entsprechen 0,6 % bzw. 0,3 % der applizierten Aufwandmenge bezogen auf eine mittlere Tiefe des Gewässers von 0,7 m. Im Vergleich zu den Medianwerten der Abtrifteckwerte (Anonym, 2000) entsprechen diese Konzentrationen ca. 22 % bzw. 47 % der zu erwartenden Abtrift. Als Hauptmetabolit wurde p,p'-Dichlorbenzophenon (p,p' - DCBP) ermittelt, das bei den Laboruntersuchungen nach 24 bis 48 Stunden und bei den Freilanduntersuchungen nach 4 bis 16 Stunden sein Konzentrationsmaximum erreichte. In Sediment wurde bei allen Versuchen eine mehrtägige Anreicherung und ein langsamer Abbau von p,p ' -Dicofol beobachtet. Die Höhe der Maxima war der applizierten Menge proportional. Die Anreicherung des Wirkstoffes im Sediment erreichte nach 3 bis 14 Tagen ihr Maximum. Die Sediment/Wasser-Verteilungskoeffizienten sind zeitabhängig und liegen 28 Tage nach der Applikation im Bereich von 670 bis 940.

The Investigations relating to the ecotoxical evaluation on dicofol ( commercial fonnulation Kelthane APS) were carried out on the background of the harmonisation of European authorisation of plant protection products. After publication of the results on aquatic organisms and springtails (MUELLER et al., 1996) the residue behaviour of dicofol in water and sediment is presented. Under laboratory and field conditions a rapid degradation of the active ingredient took place in water. In water sediment toxicity tests, after application of 405, 810 and 1620 ftg/l Kelthane APS, a disappearance time (DT50) from 7 to 9 hours were determined for p,p'-Dicofol. In a microcosm experiment with water and sediment the rapid disappearance of the active ingredient was confirmed. After application of 7 .5 and 15.0 kg/ha Kelthane APS DT50 of 6 and 7 hours were calculated. In hop gardens in the Hallertau after application of 6.7 kg/ha and 5.6 kg/ha Kelthane APS, maximum residues of 1.1 ftg/l in 1992 and 0.4 flg/l in 1993 were determined. These concentrations correspond to 0.6 and 0.3 % of the applied amount at a medium water depth of 70 cm. In comparison to the mean values of the spray drift (ANONYM, 2000) these concentrations represent 22 % and 47 % of the expected spray drift. The main metabolite p,p'-dichlorobenzophenone (p,p ' -DCBP) reached the maximum concentration at 24 to 48 hours in the laboratory studies and at 4 to 16 hours in the outdoor experiments. In the sediment an accumulation of dicofol over a period of several days and a slow decline was observed in all experiments. The accumulation of the active ingredient in the sediment reached its maximum from 3 to 14 d. The height of the maxima was proportional to the applicated amount. The partition coefficients for sediment/water are dependent on the time and ranged from 670 to 940 after 28 days.
