The Commission may consult the group on any matter relating to marine and fisheries biology, fishing gear technology, fisheries economics, fisheries governance, ecosystem effects of fisheries, aquaculture or similar disciplines. The 2023 Economic Report on the EU Fish Processing Sector provides a comprehensive overview of the latest information available on the structure and economic performance of the EU fish processing industry, from an economic and social point of view, updated at the year 2021.
