We studied the degree of inhibition of ethylene synthesis after treatment with 1-MCP-based preparations in apple fruits of the Gala Dark Baron variety grown on M 9 rootstock in the central part of the country in terms of biochemical and technological indices at harvest, postharvest and fruit behavior after removal from storage. In order to determine the effectiveness of ethylene biosynthesis inhibitor treatment on the keeping ability of apples during the post-harvest period, the following experimental design was developed: 1. Control, no treatment; 2. Fitomag, 0.44 g/м3; 3. Grand Fresh, 60 g/м3; 4. Grand Fresh, 68 g/м3. Active substance 1-methylcyclopropene, 33 g/kg.
