Evaluación nutricional de las gestantes entre 20 y 45 años que asistieron al centro CEDIAGO durante el periodo enero-diciembre del 2020.

El embarazo es una etapa de suma importancia pues representa el crecimiento y desarrollo de un nuevo ser, donde se ven inmersos un conjunto de procesos, que depende de muchos factores y uno de los más importantes es el estado nutricional materno, el cual contribuye al desarrollo normal del embarazo y disminuye el riesgo de muerte materna, muerte fetal. El objetivo del estudio es evaluar el estado nutricional de las gestantes entre 20 y 45 años que asistieron al centro CEDIAGO durante el periodo de enero a diciembre del 2020. El estudio es retrospectivo de enfoque cuantitativo observacional, descriptivo no experimental y de corte transversal ya que los datos se obtuvieron de los archivos clínicos, donde se utilizaron las variables de peso, talla, edad, índice de masa corporal (IMC), ganancia de peso gestacional y perfil bioquímico. Se tomó la población de (n=101) gestantes que cumplían con los criterios de inclusión. A partir de los datos obtenidos tenemos que el 47% de las mujeres gestantes investigadas iniciaron su embarazo con índice de masa corporal normal, el 30% con sobrepeso y el 22% con obesidad. El 22% Las gestantes que iniciaron su embarazo con un peso adecuado tuvieron una ganancia de peso insuficiente, mientras que el 11% que iniciaron su embarazo con sobrepeso, y el 10% con obesidad presentaron una ganancia de peso excesiva. El 42% de las embarazadas del estudio presentaron anemia durante su embarazo, sin embargo, solo el 4% de las gestantes tienen un riesgo nutricional alto. En conclusión, las gestantes se encuentran en óptimo estado nutricional lo que permite que disminuir el riesgo de complicaciones materno-fetales.

Pregnancy is a very important stage because it represents the growth and development of a new being, where a set of processes are immersed, which depends on many factors and one of the most important is the maternal nutritional status, which contributes to development normal pregnancy and reduces the risk of maternal-fetal death. The objective of the study is to evaluate the nutritional status of pregnant women between 20 and 45 years of age who attended the CEDIAGO center during the period from January to December 2020. The study is retrospective with a quantitative, observational, descriptive, non-experimental and cross-sectional approach since the data were obtained from the clinical files, where the variables of weight, height, age, body mass index (BMI), gestational weight gain and biochemical profile were used. The population of (n=101) pregnant women who met the inclusion criteria was taken. From the data obtained we have that 47% of the investigated pregnant women began their pregnancy with a normal body mass index, 30% with overweight and 22% with obesity. 22% of pregnant women who started their pregnancy with an adequate weight had insufficient weight gain, while 11% who started their pregnancy overweight and 10% with obesity had excessive weight gain. 42% of the pregnant women in the study had anemia during their pregnancy, however, only 4% of the pregnant women have a high nutritional risk. In conclusion, pregnant women are in optimal nutritional status, which reduces the risk of maternal-fetal complications.
