英语. In the study, seed material of cannabis was used. In the experiment, a solenoid emitting variable electromagnetic field was used. Seeds were subject to the effect of the field at two values of induction: 50 and 70 mT. On each occasion, the exposure time was 30, 60, 90, 120, 150, 180, 210 and 240 min. Moreover, control samples were prepared not exposed to the field. Seed germination was performed on Petri dishes on the medium of filtration paper moistened with distilled water. The obtained experimental results demonstrated absence of influence of variable electromagnetic field on germination energy and capacity of cannabis seeds. However, this factor revealed its influence in terms of the number of correctly developed seedlings. Seeds exposed to electromagnetic field with induction of 70 mT, independently of the exposure time, produced significantly higher number of correctly developed seedlings compared to the zero sample. Similar regularity was also found with lower field induction value (50 mT), yet in this case exposure time was of importance as well.
