In order to increase the stability of the functioning of the technical water intake from the Vyatka river in the Kirovo-Chepetsk area, the task of conducting channel-regulating works has become very urgent. Its implementation is significantly complicated by the significant mobility of the Vyatka riverbed, the threat of a breakthrough of the floodplain isthmus and the formation of a channel along the staritsa, bypassing the water intake, an urgent task has arisen. For this purpose , a hydrodynamic analysis of the riverbed process of the Vyatka River in the area of Devetyarovsky Island, an assessment and forecast of the development of riverbed deformations are given, based on various scenario calculations.
