Whereas analyzed company UAB “GKF“ so I go deep into this company drying process. UAB “GKF“ established in 1993. 2007 the company was reorganized into UAB “GKF“, whos earlier was called firm of Giedrius Kaminskas. About 75% of the final timber is exported to Western Europe, and the rest sold in Lithuania. The main production of company- timber, double-cut pine and spruce boards for laminated structures, furniture board manufacturing. The company produces planed products for various structures exterior. Drying speed depends on the insertion, speedily will be dryed wood, which has a 32mm thick insertion, the longest dry will be which 10mm insertion. Most of the wood, up to 1200 cubic meters of wood is exported to Denmark. It demanded 47x50 board. The second country which is leaving a large amount of wood is Germany. It leaves even 950 m3 of timber, most of it is 38x175 pine wood. At the least timber is exported to the Netherlands and Poland. The total these countries wood quantity is 350m3 . Wood humidity can be tested by thick. 1 cubic meter of pine timber weight, when the timber is semi-exiccate is 600kg and 550kg of spruce. When the wood is 15% of moisture it weight is half dried. UAB“GKF“ manufactured boards of softwood, it is spruce and pine. They are used for facing constructions, roofing, railings, floors, ceilings, doors and windows.
