Due to the versatile use of the laurel plant, it is of great importance to protect it from various pathogenic microorganisms. The article lists the fungi that are the main causes of diseases of the laurel seedlings and sprouts. The following fungi cause the disease of seedlings and shoots of the laurel plant: Sclerotium rolfsii Sacc.; Phytophthora cinnamoni Ran.; Fusarium oxysporum (Schlecht) Snyd. et Haans; Pythium debaryanum Auct.Non.R.Hasse. and Rosselinia necatrix Ber. Fig. 9, Ref. 7.
