First results of studying of spatial/temporal variability of the methane content and emission in the Tsimlyansk reservoir

This study is devoted to the analysis of results of measuring methane content and specific flow from the Tsimlyansk reservoir surface according to the data collected in the summer-autumn period of 2021–2023. Th e greatest artificial water body in the south of the Russia’s European territory is not adequately surveyed in respect of the greenhouse gases emission.
