This volume covers the eleven countries In Central and others In Africa and constitutes the fourth part of the sixth edition of the Statistical Yearbook for Africa,prepared by the ECA Statistics Division. Due to delays In attempting to computerize the Yearbook, It was decided that the Yearbook for 1977, 1978, 1970 and 1980 would be combined Into a single edition. Thus the sixth edition Includes data which would have been covered In these separate editions.
