Fifth population inquiry among governments: ECA member state perceptions and policies on demographic trends in relations to development as of 1982

The United Nations Secretary-General invited all member States of the United Nations to participate in the fifth population Inquiry among Governments Monitoring of Government perceptions and policies on Demographic Trends and Levels in relation to development as of 1982. An attempt is made here to present some of the findings on the Inquiry regarding the ECA member states. The findings of the Inquiry start with the overall summary of the various topics covered in the Inquiry followed by presentation of individual countries on subregional groupings.
