Bioecological features of the causative agent of cherry leaf spot in changing environmental conditions | Биоэкологические особенности возбудителя коккомикоза вишни и черешни в изменяющихся условиях среды

英语. Leaf spot caused by Blumeriella jaapii (Rehm.) Arx. is one of the dominant of cherry and sweet cherry diseases. Climate warming and the occurrence of torrential rains have exacerbated the damage caused by this disease reducing the efficacy of existing protective measures. Studying the bioecological characteristics of this micromycete under intensified abiotic stress has become critical and serves as this work objective. The research was conducted between 2022 and 2024 using laboratory analyses, field surveys of commercial and collection plantations of cherry and sweet cherry, and a combination of standardized and adapted methodologies. It was established that during winter, the pathogen persists in fallen leaves as mycelial stromata, which later develop into either stromata bearing spring conidia or apothecia containing ascospores. The density of the primary inoculum varies significantly: resistant varieties exhibit 39–300 apothecia per leaf, whereas highly susceptible and moderately susceptible varieties host 400–1,575 apothecia per leaf. Thus, under current conditions, the use of resistant varieties alone is insufficient as a primary disease control strategy. Unfavorable conditions for spore emission include temperatures exceeding the seasonal norm by 4.2–5.5 °C and precipitation deficits (≤33% of the norm) or its complete absence. Under optimal conditions, 50% of ascospores are released within 7–10 days, compared to only 7.4–25% under suboptimal conditions. Mass dispersal of conidia coincides with the full flowering stage of cherry and sweet cherry. Cherry and sweet cherry leaf spot suppression is linked to delayed manifestation of conidial-stage symptoms, weak or absent sporulation during the early disease development phase, and prolonged hot, arid weather in July and August. The findings enable optimization of cherry and sweet cherry protection strategies by tailoring them to factors such as primary inoculum density, ascospore emission dynamics, and disease symptom emergence timelines. This approach enhances precision in managing biotic and abiotic stressors under evolving climatic conditions.

俄语. Одним из доминирующих заболеваний вишни и черешни является коккомикоз, возбудитель Blumeriella jaapii (Rehm.) Arx. Потепление климата и выпадение залповых ливней вызывает увеличение вредоносности коккомикоза, что проявляется в снижении эффективности защитных мероприятий. Цель работы - изучение специфики биоэкологии возбудителя коккомикоза вишни и черешни в изменяющихся погодных условиях Краснодарского края. Исследования выполнены в 2022-2024 гг. методами лабораторных анализов, маршрутных обследований промышленных и коллекционных насаждений вишни и черешни, с использованием общепринятых и адаптированных методик. Установлено, что в зимний период возбудитель сохраняется в опавших листьях мицелиальными стромами, где впоследствии развивается или ложе с весенними конидиями, а также апотеции со спорами. Плотность первичного инокулюма возбудителя составляет: на устойчивых сортах от 39 до 300 апотециев на один лист, на высоко- и средневосприимчивых – от 400 до 1575, поэтому в современных условиях использование устойчивых к коккомикозу сортов не является основным способом контроля болезни. Неблагоприятными для эмиссии спор патогена являются температура воздуха на 4,2-5,5 °С выше нормы, недобор осадков (не выше 33% от нормы) или их отсутствие. При оптимальных условиях в течение 7-10 суток освобождается до 50% аскоспор, при неблагоприятных 7,4-25%, массовый разлет конидий происходит во время полного цветения вишни и черешни. К депрессии коккомикоза приводят позднее проявление признаков конидиальной стадии, слабое образование спороношения или его отсутствие в начальном периоде развития заболевания; длительное сохранение жаркой засушливой погоды в июле и августе. Полученные данные позволяют оптимизировать технологию защиты вишни и черешни в направлении дифференциации систем защиты в зависимости от плотности первичного инокулюма, динамики эмиссии аскоспор, сроков появления признаков болезни.
