Uso de acidificante y probiotico en el agua de bebida de pollos broiler

The present research work aims to evaluate three types of treatments, two with additives (probiotic and acidifier) and a control in broiler chickens in order to improve productive parameters. It was carried out at Punzara Experimental House of Universidad Nacional de Loja, two additives (probiotic and acidifier) were evaluated, at early ages (1-28 days) of broiler chickens in order to evaluate live weight, average consumption daily, average daily gain, feed conversion and mortality; 299 one day-old broiler chickens were used, which were housed in experimental units of 10 animals. The trial design was with a repeated measures model. In treatments three and five the supply of acidifier (citric acid) was applied, 1 gr per liter of drinking water. In treatment two and four, 0.80 gr of probiotic was administered. (Saccharomyces Cerevisiae) in 1 kg of food; all treatments covered the requirements of the Cobb 500 genetic line. The animals were sacrificed when they were 42 days old. Variables were compared in a protected t-test. Productive parameters did not have significant differences except for the conversion diet in week five (p=0.033). The highest economic performing treatment was the one that was administered probiotic and control with 25.49% and 24.99 respectively. Concluding that the use of a probiotic and acidifier could be considered as an alternative for the production of broiler chickens from the point of view of economic and health point of view. En la presente investigación se evaluó tres tipos de tratamientos dos con aditivos (probiótico y acidificante) y un control en pollos broiler con el fin de mejorar parámetros productivos. Se realizó en la Quinta Experimental Punzara de la Universidad Nacional de Loja, se evaluó dos aditivos (probiótico y acidificante), en edades tempranas (1-28 días) de pollos broiler con el fin de evaluar peso vivo, consumo medio diario, ganancia media diaria, conversión alimenticia y mortalidad; se utilizaron 299 pollos broiler de un día de edad que fueron alojados en unidades experimentales de 10 animales. El diseño del ensayo fue con un modelo de medidas repetidas. Se aplicó en los tratamientos tres y cinco el suministro de acidificante (ácido cítrico) en 1 gr por litro de agua de bebida. En el tratamiento dos y cuatro se administró 0,80 gr de probiótico (Saccharomyces Cerevisiae) en 1 kg de alimento; todos los tratamientos cubrieron los requerimientos de la línea genética Cobb 500. Los animales fueron sacrificados a los 42 días de edad. Las variables fueron comparadas en un t-test protegido. Los parámetros productivos no tuvieron diferencias significativas a excepción de la conversión alimenticia en la semana cinco (p=0,033). El tratamiento de mayor rendimiento económico fue el que se administró probiótico y control con 25,49% y 24,99 respectivamente. Concluyendo que el uso de un probiótico y acidificante podría considerarse como alternativa para la producción de pollos broiler desde el punto de vista económico y sanitario.
