俄语. Тесты in vitro являются альтернативой экспериментам in vivo, проводимым на живых организмах. Они относятся главным образом к моделям отдельных популяций клеток, не только здоровых, но и раковых, а процессы, происходящие в них, могут быть основой для определения общих процессов в организме. Начиная с основного строительного блока организма, представляющего собой клетку, существует несколько видов смертей, основными из которых являются апоптоз и некроз. Организм человека состоит из 1013–1014 клеток 300 различных типов, количество которых строго контролируется. Во время клеточных делений создаются новые клетки, и их количество регулируется в процессе запрограммированной смерти – апоптоза, в котором в основном старые или поврежденные клетки совершают самоубийство и выводятся из организма.
