At the macroscopic examination, the symptoms of Erwinia Amylovora or fireblight can be confused with other diseases, with damages caused by insects or damages caused by certain environmental conditions. Taking into consideration the above mentioned and in order to determine the fireblight it is required to isolate and identify the pathogenetic agent. It was collected biological material from plant species – apple, pear and quince in order to isolate the fireblight pathogen.
