In this paper are presented the results of studying pigs’ productive qualities obtained by an out crossing. It has been established that the level of obtained production is in correlation with the genetic potential of the pigs. The use of Landrace breed has contributed to the improvement of the reproductive qualities of Eston bacon breed as well as to the acceleration of growing capacity at the young pigs in the period of suckling
