Conception d’un prototype de verger diversifié dédié à la transformation (VDDT)

英语. The arboricultural sector currently uses large quantities of phytosanitary products, in particular to produce fruit that meets strict aesthetic requirements. Diversification at plot level favours the regulation of bio-aggressors and therefore reduces the need for treatments to protect orchards. A diversified orchard dedicated to processing (VDDT) would reduce the use of pesticides and help meet the need for food sovereignty for processed fruit in France. To foster the adoption of this model, it is necessary to reason on a sector-wide scale. As part of this internship report, an exploratory study of the VDDT concept was carried out with stakeholders in the processed fruit sector in the 47 and 82 departments. 22 semi-structured interviews were conducted and fully retranscribed. This report presents their thematic and SWOT analysis. Valorization appears to be a central theme of the VDDT, closely linked to contractualization. In addition, a workshop to co-design a plot of VDDT for on-farm processing was held on March 19, 2025 in Bourran (47). At the end of this workshop, the participants designed a planting plan for a VDDT test plot to obtain yield data using manual and mechanical harvesting.

法语. Les filières arboricoles utilisent actuellement des quantités importantes de produits phytosanitaires notamment afin de produire des fruits répondants à des exigences esthétiques strictes. La diversification à l’échelle de la parcelle favorise la régulation des bioagresseurs et donc diminue le besoin en traitements pour protéger les vergers. Un verger diversifié dédié à la transformation (VDDT) permettrait une réduction de l’utilisation des pesticides et contribuerait à répondre au besoin de souveraineté alimentaire sur les fruits transformés en France. Pour favoriser l’adoption de ce modèle, il est nécessaire de raisonner à l’échelle de la filière. Dans le cadre de ce rapport de stage, une étude exploratoire du concept de VDDT a été menée auprès des acteurs de la filière fruits transformés dans le 47 et le 82. 22 entretiens semidirectifs ont été réalisés et intégralement retranscrits. Ce rapport présente leur analyse thématique ainsi que sous forme de SWOT. La valorisation apparait ainsi comme un thème central du VDDT en fort lien avec la contractualisation. De plus, un atelier de co-conception d’une parcelle de VDDT dans le cadre d’une transformation à la ferme a été organisé le 19 mars 2025 à Bourran (47). À l’issu de cet atelier, un plan de plantation d’une parcelle test de VDDT a été imaginé par les participants pour obtenir des données de rendements en récolte manuelle et mécanique.
