PL: Ocena wartości kapitału ludzkiego w krajach UE | EN: Assessment of the value of human capital in the EU countries

abstractPL: W pracy zatytułowanej „Ocena wartości kapitału ludzkiego w krajach UE” przedstawiono kwestie dotyczące kapitału ludzkiego oraz jego pomiaru. W części teoretycznej ukazano pojęcie i istotę kapitału, w tym kapitału ludzkiego, znaczenie kapitału ludzkiego dla rozwoju gospodarczego. Omówiono także pomiar wartości kapitału ludzkiego i jego metody. W części badawczej podjęto próbę oceny wartości kapitału ludzkiego w krajach UE w latach 2010-2020. Zastosowano metodę oceny jakościowej wartości kapitału stosując wybrane wskaźniki. Są to: liczba ludności, struktura ludności z wykształceniem wyższym, średnia długość życia, wydatki na badania i rozwój, wydatki przedsiębiorstw na badania i rozwój, wynalazki i patenty, dostęp gospodarstw domowych do Internetu, liczba dostępnych łóżek w szpitalach, stopa bezrobocia. Wyniki zostały zilustrowane w formie tabelarycznej oraz ukazane na wykresach. Analiza wykazała, że kraje Unii Europejskiej są zróżnicowane pod względem wartości kapitału ludzkiego.

abstractEN: The work „Assessment of the value of human capital in EU countries” presents issues related to human capital and its measurement. The theoretical part shows the concept and essence of capital, including human capital, and the importance of human capital for economic development. Measurement of the value of human capital and its methods are also discussed. In the research part, an attempt was made to assess the value of human capital in the EU countries in 2010-2020. The method of qualitative assessment of the value of capital was applied using selected indicators. These are: population number, structure of the population with higher education, life expectancy, expenditure on research and development, corporate expenditure on research and development, inventions and patents, household access to the Internet, number of available beds in hospitals, unemployment rate. The results are illustrated in tabular form and shown in graphs. The analysis showed that the European Union countries are diversified in terms of the value of human capital.
