abstractPL: Praca dyplomowa opisuje zagadnienia związane ze sposobem gospodarowania zużytymi bateriami i akumulatorami. Odpady te stanowią bowiem poważne zagrożenie dla środowiska. Celem pracy była ocena wpływu ww. odpadów na środowisko naturalne oraz zdrowie i życie człowieka. W pracy opisano problem globalny, dotyczący nieodpowiedniego recyklingu zużytych baterii i akumulatorów, statystyki odnoszące się do gospodarowania tego typu odpadami w Polsce i na świecie, zagrożenia pochodzące m.in. z oddziaływania metali ciężkich zawartych w bateriach i akumulatorach. Opisane zostało także zarządzanie ryzykiem w gospodarce ww. odpadami.

The thesis investigates the effect of the above-mentioned waste on the environment and human health and life. This study describes the global problem of inadequate recycling of waste batteries and accumulators, statistics on the management of this type of waste in Poland and in the world, threats from, among others, from heavy metals contained in batteries and accumulators. It also describes risk management in the management of above-mentioned waste.
