PL: Ocena bezpieczeństwa i higieny pracy na stanowisku stomatologa | EN: Evaluation of occupational safety and hygiene at the dentist's position

abstractPL: W opracowaniu dokonano ogólnej charakterystyki pracy na stanowisku stomatologa pod kątem bezpieczeństwa i higieny pracy. Przedstawiono podstawy prawne funkcjonowania gabinetu stomatologicznego oraz scharakteryzowano jego wyposażenie. Dokonano przeglądu literatury dotyczącej bezpiecznej i ergonomicznej pracy dentysty oraz scharakteryzowano typowe zagrożenia i choroby zawodowe związane z tą specjalizacją. W ramach metod badawczych zastosowano dwie koncepcje oceny ryzyka zawodowego oraz sondaż diagnostyczny w formie ankiety. Na podstawie badań oraz obserwacji pracy stomatologa, zidentyfikowane zostały zagrożenia fizyczne, chemiczne, biologiczne oraz środowiska pracy, obliczone zostało prawdopodobieństwo ich wystąpienia oraz zaproponowane zostały działania profilaktyczne zmniejszające ryzyko wystąpienia zdarzeń niebezpiecznych do poziomu akceptowalnego.

abstractEN: The study presents the general characteristics of work at the dentist’s position in terms of occupational health and safety. The law basis for the operations of the dental office and using equipment are presented. The literature on the safe and ergonomic work of the dentist was revived and the typical threats and occupational diseases related to this specialization were characterized. As research methods, the study presents two methods of occupational risk assessment and a diagnostic in the form of a survey were used. Based on the research and observation of dentist’s work, physical, chemical, biological and work environment hazards were identified, the probability of their occurrence was calculated and prophylactic measures were proposed to reduce the risk of hazardous events to an acceptable level.
