This article presents the results of long-term monitoring of the clone R5 Cabernet Sauvignon onto the BxR Kober 5BB rootstock in the Agro-ecological conditions of the ATU Gagauzia. An analysis of the growth and development parameters of the Leaf Area, as well as the yield of the clone R5 Cabernet Sauvignon, has been conducted. During the study, a correlation was identified between the development of the Leaf Area and the grapevine yield. The research revealed a regression equation of y = 0.32x + 0.39, with a correlation coefficient of 0.99 ± 0.1 and a determination coefficient of 0.98. The obtained results indicate a strong positive correlation between the Leaf Area and the yield of grapevines from the R5 clone of Cabernet Sauvignon when cultivated in the Agro-ecological conditions of the ATU Gagauzia. It has been established that an increase in Leaf Area significantly influences the increase in yield, creating a close positive relationship between these two factors. The obtained results can be utilized in the development of effective vineyard management strategies, contributing to the enhancement of overall productivity and grape quality in ATU Gagauzia
